Selecting multiple objects at once

I often use the move tool to click and drag across the page to select multiple objects (text boxes, shapes, pictures, etc.) at once, but this usually doesn't work correctly, as multiple objects are usually left out of the selection. Windows 10, Publisher 1.7.0.227

In your Tools Preferences, how do you have this option set?

If it is not set, then an object will only be selected if it is entirely enclosed within the box that you drag with the move tool.
