Affinity designer, can you create an animation?

Recommended Posts

Hello, I use affinity designer to create sprites, I would like to create several frams of sprites to export to an animation software, I can't find how to make several frams of the same drawing, we can't create frams in affinity designer? Is there any way to animate drawings? Thank you very much for your help.

To duplicate a layer, select the layer you wish to duplicate and use the Edit /Duplicate menu to create a copy of the selected layer. You could possibly use the Export Persona to create Slices of the finished sprites and Export them all to a folder in the format of your choice.

You can read more about these features in the Help file.

Hi Julio666 :)

Unfortunately Affinity has no animation features currently, you can duplicate layers as explained above, but these will be static vector/pixel objects only. I hope this helps.

Please note -

I am currently out of the office for a short while whilst recovering from surgery (nothing serious!), therefore will not be available on the Forums during this time.

Should you require a response from the team in a thread I have previously replied in - please Create a New Thread and our team will be sure to reply as soon as possible.

Many thanks!
