Affinity Photo > macOS > Export JPEG for Web > Optimise to File Size

Recommended Posts

Hi and apologies for not using Affinity for a while now. Busy looking for work.

Trying to again get off the Olde Adobe Reliance. An old workflow for JPEG web output I've always used, is a targeted KB size output, found (in CS6) under SAVE FOR WEB > OPTIMIZE [sic] TO FILE SIZE …

Does AP have a similar feature? I can't find something you can dial in.

Consider using something like JPEGMini if you want to achieve the smallest possible file size.

The closest thing it has (& it is not very close) is the "Estimated File Size" number in the File > Export dropdown panel.

@R C-R Yeah, agreed, that’s what I've been doing. Requires a little fishing around withy no decimals in there, but does the job. Good enough.
