GRH
Hello all, I previously posted that I was having trouble with beta 221 not installing and was hoping that beta 227 would. Alas no. The program gets as far as showing a black square (most times) and then quits. Task manager shows it loading into memory as far as 5mb before it quits. The same happens if run as administrator or choosing a different graphic processor. Any ideas to solve this would be appreciated. Thanks in advance. Staff Jon P Posted January 25, 2019 Staff Share Posted January 25, 2019 Hi all, Can I just clarify that this is happening when the installer executable is being ran, not the program itself? Staff Patrick Connor Posted January 25, 2019 Staff Share Posted January 25, 2019 this may sound stupid, but can you please try changing your screen resolution/scaling to something lower I think this line in SetupUI.log is relevant as mine installed OK + Unhandled exception: + Message: Cannot locate resource 'resources/publisher%20x3.png'. + StackTrace: Alternatively if you have a dual screen system (excended not mirrored) running at different resolutions try installing it from the desktop on the other screen.
