Hello everyone,,

I have been on the fence about making the switch to Affinity the past month. Main reason for the switch was because my current job (graphic designer) got rid of us having access to using adobe on a second computer. So me using my work adobe account for my random freelance work is coming to a stop.

For personal freelance work, I mainly use photoshop and illustrator and have tried both affinity photo and designer trials and have been loving it.

My only concern is exporting illustrator files. I know there is no way to export to AI so what has been the best work around for you guys? Especially in a more professional manner.

For example. Does exporting to PDF still allow someone using illustrator to open the file and possibly color separate for like screen printing? I know from experience I was able to use EPS files for screen printing.

Just wanted to get feedback from people that may be using Designer for more serious work besides just a hobby.

Hi Petter,

Welcome to the forums :)

I'd recommend using .PDF , SVG or EPS.

Thanks
