snugsound Posted January 24, 2019 Posted January 24, 2019 Is there any way to export from Publisher and into Designer, with layers and groups intact? I know I can export as an intermediary format, like EPS, but this doesn't preserve layers and groups. The ideal would be the ability to simply copy/paste between apps, but unfortunately, this does not appear to be a feature. Any help is much appreciated.
Staff AdamW Posted January 24, 2019 Staff Posted January 24, 2019 Hi snugsound, Welcome to the Affinity forum. Publisher and Designer files are compatible but not upward compatible, so you can save / load / copy / paste between 1.7 Publisher beta and the 1.7 Designer beta, but not from the 1.7 Publisher / Designer betas to the 1.6 Designer release. I’m guessing this is what you are seeing.
