Donovan
Hi. I am finding that increasing Radius in Unsharp Mask and when using other applications (eg perspective) - grid lines appear. This is happening for pictures taken from different cameras, so I dont believe it can be the cameras. Does anyone know what this is? Please see the attached screenshot to see what I mean. Thank you for helping. Jason
Staff Leigh Posted January 24, 2019 Staff Share Posted January 24, 2019 Hi Donovan, welcome to the forum If you disable the FX layer on the Background layer, do the "Tiles" disappear? If seen this issue before when a Gradient Overlay Layer Effect is applied - it's been logged with our devs. MEB
Donovan
Yes !! Thank you. Thats a real shame that happens. You wouldn't be aware of a way to use the gradient overlay effect without this happening, or a simple alternative approach to create the same effect without using the gradient overlay effect? Thank you again Leigh. Jason
Staff Leigh Posted January 24, 2019 Staff Share Posted January 24, 2019 You could perhaps create a new layer and then use the Gradient Tool. With the gradient layer selected you can then use the Opacity slider to change its opacity :)
Donovan
Thanks again. I will give that a try. Jason Leigh
