John Hall
I am new to Affinity and been trying to find information in what order I should edit a photo. 1 Rotate and crop 2 Sort out the Light and Dark 3 Colour balance 4 Sharpen 5 Correction Do you think this order is correct when not just editing one photo but all your photo's
Staff Gabe Posted January 23, 2019 Staff Share Posted January 23, 2019 Hi @John Hall, That would really depend on how to you all this. In develop a persona, it does not matter. In pixel persona, you have the normal layer stack which works from top to bottom, so the top layer affects everything underneath, Other than that, I believe it's personal preference. where adjustment layers stacked inside the layer work from bottom to top

I've heard people say you should start by cropping because it affects the histogram, but I prefer to leave it until I've got a better idea of what sort of rubbish I'm dealing with! On the rare occassions that I've got a genuine keeper I adopt a zone approach. Quote AP, AD & APub user, running Win10
