playz123 Posted January 23, 2019 Posted January 23, 2019 (edited) Fresh install of Affinity Photo on Mac Pro with O/S 10.12.6 32 GB RAM If I create a new file or open a photo then select the type tool and type, the Arial font works. Then when I go to change the type and select a different font, Affinity immediately crashes and becomes unresponsive making the program unusable. No new fonts have been added and typing in all other programs on the computer works fine. I tried removing the program from Applications and reinstalling it, rebooting etc., but same problem. Other features seem to work. Can anyone help; very upsetting and I haven't a clue what to try next. Are there other files that need to be removed when uninstalling? EDIT: Used "Clean My Mac" to completely uninstall Affinity Photo, reinstalled from scratch, and program works again. Whew! No idea why it continued to crash since no changes were made to fonts or the program. Edited January 23, 2019 by playz123 Update Quote
