doughboybill
I do not get accurate color management results when I print from Affinity Photo even after following all of the tutorial instructions. I've resorted to using the Canon "Print Studio Pro" from Photoshop Elements, which gives me much more accurate results. I'm printing on a Canon PIXMA Pro-100. I have also calibrated my monitor using Spyder hardware and software. I would like to integrate the whole process into one platform. Does anyone know how to access Print Studio Pro from Affinity Photo? I've tried loading it as a plugin, but it doesn't seem to work.

doughboybill
Thanks Callum. I will continue using my workaround. I the meantime, I hope Affinity will develop a plug in for Print Studio Pro or make it's printer interface as good for canon printers. doughboybill
Designer123
Used the canon Print Studio Pro on friends computer on Photoshop. This plugin makes printing life a lot easier. Cannot wait for it to be a plugin on Affinity Photo!!!
Tom @artprintlab
Canon introduced a new software for printing, based on their Layout plugin. The new software called Professional Print & Layout (current version 1.1.0) can be used as standalone printing software or as a PhotoShop plugin. It takes a little time to understand it's concept of slots and pages, but it is neccessary to use the automatic nesting layout. Color management functions are the same as in Print Studio Pro. There is a switch to Soft Proof the print preview. Standalone version is a great printing software for images prepared in Affinity to print on Canon PRO printers. I wonder if you'll like this software. Tom
Mike Webb
This appears to only work with very high end printers - is that right?

Kalides
anyone using a print utility? likeQimage? as affinity is still not good for custom inks, and medias, i was concidering dorpping the cash on a utility. i also use corel painter, and it seems that it is the same issue, with custom profiles...it is a shame, but i need to do something. I have Mirage Small Studio Edition for a Canon Pro 300. Their pricing depends on printer size and is reasonable rather than cheap. It just works.
