I tried installing Affinity Photo paid version on my desktop with Windows 7 ultimate and am getting "Failed setup" error. I read the post to clean boot but the same is not helping me. Request your help in getting the software successfully installed for me.

System specs:

8GB RAM, 64 bit OS. The drive i am trying to install has more than 200 GB available space.

Hi photo4subu and Welcome to the Forums,

Can you check this location for me %temp%/AffinitySetup To get to that location, call up the Run box by holding down the Windows key and tapping the letter R. Copy the above path into the run box and click okay.  You should see a folder in here, if you can open that folder and then upload the log files to out Dropbox here, i'll be able to help further :)

Hi brossanova,

Just checked the log files you uploaded and this was the main issue ''Object reference not set to an instance of an object”.  That normally means you are running a 32 bit version of Windows and Affinity needs a 64 bit version of Windows.

You should be successful if you follow the steps in https://affin.co/WinSetupFailed
