Adjust stroke size

Recommended Posts

I’ve spend all morning trying to do the most basic of all operations, adjust the stroke size on a square object. Not even Google has helped. Can anyone point me in the correct direction?

All l need to know is how to adjust the stroke line on any object drawn in Affinity Photo for ipad.

Thanks

If you mean you’d like to make the stroke weight thicker or thinner then:

1. Select the object

2. On the right side under the colour picker you’ll see a stroke symbol with a stroke number underneath it; click on that

3. A window should slide open containing a slider for the stroke width. You can either slide it to the right to adjust or tap it and enter a number.

Hope that’s what you were looking for.

@J99 Use the pen tool. While the line is selected adjust the Po width in the context menu.

For shapes, convert to curves and then choose pen tool to get context menu again.

Go to functions (fx) , enable outline and double tap on it , then you can adjust the strokes of the selected object.

Welcome to the Serif Affinity Forums, @Sinwana. :)

All filter effects produce a bitmap/raster result. Using the Pen Tool (as demonstrated by @DM1 in the post before yours) will maintain the vector properties of the stroke.
