Multiples crashes when use .221

Recommended Posts

Before anything else, please try to reset Publisher by holding down the Command Key while starting Publisher.

You should reset all options to see whether that made any difference.

My experience with .221 is that initially I had a number of crashes but then they somehow stopped. It looks as if Publisher needed some warm-up time. :)

cleaned up (deinstall completely) AP from my Mac Pro and reinstalled. Created new document, created base grid and tried to place a guide. Clicking on the ruler crashed Ap instantly.

Then it's about time to submit your crash log. :)

It seems these crashes occur when 'Show Baseline Grids' is turned on.

I have it on and it doesn't crash on me.

Same here.  I haven't done anything related to Baseline Grids, but I have been toggling back and forth between .221 and Safari, and opening and closing new documents, with Saves, Save As, and Close without Saving while fiddling with page numbering.  The new beta is working very smoothly on my iMAC.

For whatever it's worth, I've just enabled Snap to Baseline Grid and Publisher started to crash instantly.

As soon as I disabled that option these strange crashes stopped.

Please have a look whether you have that option enabled and disable it and let us know whether that made any difference for you.
