chakko007
Hey, as the title says. I wanted to ask whether or not there are plans to implement a software updater into the Affinity products. I think it is a great way to check for updates, and update your software quickly and easily.
Staff MEB Posted January 16, 2019 Staff Share Posted January 16, 2019 Hi chakko007, This is already available in the latest Betas of all products for Mac (go to menu Affinity Photo/Designer/Publisher ▸ Check for Updates) but not on Windows (at least for now). chakko007 1 Quote A Guide to Learning Affinity Software | Affinity Quick Reference
Staff Patrick Connor Posted January 16, 2019 Staff Share Posted January 16, 2019 There are plans to write a full software updater for Windows too, but that is not part of any of the current Windows releases or beta builds yet. R C-R
Just guessing, but I assume there will be no built-in updater for the Mac App Store versions, since that is handled by the OS in System Preferences > App Store. Is that correct?
