alex96gonzalez
I don't know how to explain my problem through text so instead I made a video to show what I am dealing with. Basically the subtracting tool isn't working half the time. WATCH THE VIDEO PLEASE! PathsSubtract.mp4
Staff stokerg Posted January 16, 2019 Staff Share Posted January 16, 2019 Hi alex96gonzalez, Very odd, i can't see why it would work for some paths and not for others. Would you be able to upload the .afdesign file? I've setup a Dropbox link here

firstdefence
are the curves crossed at all and not just the curve you are subtracting, any of the curves, you have some very fine lines and I've seen this when a node has twisted the curve into a knot, so left handle over right. Staff stokerg Posted January 18, 2019 Staff Share Posted January 18, 2019 Hi alex96gonzalez, Thanks for the file. I wasn't able to get anything to subtract at first and as @dutchshader posted, this is down to the Fill Mode. If you select the main face and click Layer>Fill Mode>Alternate (Even-Odd) and then select and subtract, it will work as expected bartcor, Father ODD Creations, Damion and 3 others
