Access to document file lost

I am receiving the error message attached about every 5 minutes. I am not using any external storage and I have copied the file to the desktop to try and work from there. Any fix?

Hi @hinespraise,

Welcome to the forums. 

Sounds like your internal HDD gets disconnected/might be failing. Have you tried to run Disk Utility > First AID and see if you have any errors?
