Steps
Not surprising. The last one is 30 days old and thats their expiration time. This morning I did some final touches to my project before I ordered a print. Seems I was lucky. I patiently wait for the new one and I'm curious for the changelog. Quote Windows 10 Pro x64 (1903). GarryP
I can still use mine. I downloaded it on 14th December - so my history says - so I'm currently on day 31 by my reckoning. I did reset it at the weekend though. Might there be a chance that I've also, somehow, reset the expiration date too? I wonder what will happen tomorrow. William Overington
Oh, is the beta going expire before there is either a later beta version on a finished product ready to buy? Could someone from Serif clarify the position please? William Quote Until December 2022, using a Lenovo laptop running Windows 10 in England. Staff MEB Posted January 14, 2019 Staff Share Posted January 14, 2019 Hi William Overington, We usually provide a new Beta before the previous one expires so a new one should be out soon even if just for renewing the expiration date. Staff AdamW Posted January 14, 2019 Staff Share Posted January 14, 2019 Hi, Because we knew we would effectively be down for two weeks over the Christmas period we gave the last beta (206) an extended expiry time of 45 days, so it will expire round about 26th Jan. We hope to have a new build out in the next few days with some updates if you really are stuck. I know its not much help but my builds, Mac and Windows, are fine. Then.... * On Windows that prompt also has a link that gets you to the new build (or rather to a webpage with a link to the new build). When you download and run it, the new version replaces the existing one. * On Mac the software prompt suggests the app is closed and then the update downloads and installs itself. Their system clock could be set incorrectly, or to a foreign calendar (someone had something like this happen when using a Japanese system calendar a while back) as some examples.
