Pixel Layer and Color (Bug)

Recommended Posts

Changing the color to multiple layers at once with a pixel layer as part of them will cause the whole document to change color. This also happens if a pixel layer is a child layer and the one selected is its parent layer.

The website is still a work in progress. The "Comics" and "Shop" sections are not yet ready. Feel free to connect with me and let me know what you like or what can be improved. You can contact me here, on my contact page, YouTube channel, or Twitter account. Thanks and have a great day!

That's the Pixel layer being completely filled with the applied colour which you intended to affect only the fill or stroke of vector objects. We've definitely been told by Serif staff that that behaviour is by design, but I'm not convinced because it doesn't seem rational and smells more like a bug to me.

Huh...I would think that in regards to changing color to multiple layers at once, the pixel layer should just be excluded completely since it doesn't have the same properties. It's effect can be a very easy thing to accidentally mix up on a design.

I agree, but someone at Serif has/had other ideas.
