Is this a bug or something I have done please?

Recommended Posts

I opened a .afpub file that I had produced earlier, just one page of text. I am wanting to copy some of the text in it to a forum post. However, I cannot get the text cursor. I closed the file and tried again. I closed the file and then closed Affinity Publisher and started again. But still no cursor. Is this a bug or something I have done please?

Here is the .afpub file and the font.

I have been experimenting based upon a post in the Unicode mailing list.

Could the Private Use Area characters be something to do with it?

It was working fine before.

Thank you.

I looked in help, found out about locking, and used

Layer

Unlock All

It is all alright now.

I found that the command to lock has a short cut of Control L.

I may possibly have keyed that by mistake.

Thank you for sorting it out for me.
