Mhakiwa
Hi I am new to iPad designing using Affinity Designer. I was wondering if there was a tutorial that specifically covered fills as in the monster sample included in AD. It looks like there is a noise filter added etc, I just wondered if someone could point me in the direction as to where I could find this. I am interested in developing my art further and knowing these techniques would be really helpful. thanks

Staff Dan C Posted January 8, 2019 Staff Share Posted January 8, 2019 Hi Mhakiwa, Welcome to the forums The artist who created this sample also worked with us in writing an article on our Spotlight website, check this out below for more info on how he creates his work! https://affinityspotlight.com/article/making-a-monster-with-monez/ You can add noise to any coloured fill! Simply select your object, open the colour studio and select a fill, then use the Noise slider below Opacity to add noise to the fill. I hope this helps! Quote Please note - I am currently out of the office for a short while whilst recovering from surgery (nothing serious!), therefore will not be available on the Forums during this time. Should you require a response from the team in a thread I have previously replied in - please Create a New Thread and our team will be sure to reply as soon as possible. Many thanks!
