allen57301
Only a few words about this great piece of software: - I tried to install IndesignCC on a low end PC with a tiny Intel Celeron with Win 7... Doesn't work! - Affinity Publisher (beta) on the same computer: Works very well. So, you know what is the one I'll use... Of course Apub doesn't have all the features PageX9 has but it's a great soft as well. My 2 cents. jmwellborn
DSi
[I didn't know where else to post this, so I hope it makes sense putting it here.] Affinity Publisher is a terrific, heavy-duty desktop publisher that, as a Mac user, I've been waiting for. I've used DTP applications since the days of Letraset's Ready, Set, Go! Used Aldus PageMaker for many years at work. Now, I've been using Swift Publisher 5 for home use, but it's a light-weight program. I'm so grateful that a powerful, full-featured program like Affinity Publisher is about to premier. Going through Beta 1.7.0.227 is truly an outstanding tool. jmwellborn and Rich313

(Even with the forewarned “not yet ready” caution from the developers.) Also a many-years Pagemaker then InDesign user, having created over 38,200 pages with them. Steps
@allen57301 @DSi @jmwellborn Does that surprise you? It's built for performance! See yourself: To be "Lightning fast" is point number one of the Affinity vision manifest and I can also confirm that they indeed well succeded on this. Quote Windows 10 Pro x64 (1903).
