Hi ricke76,

What you see it that video in an embedded file being edited in a second document window, while it's being updated in real time on the document it was embedded in.

To do that you must change to Separated Mode going to menu Window ▹ Separated Mode.

Then open a file with a document embedded. If you double click on the embedded document Affinity will open it in a new document window. All changes you made to the document in this new window will be mirrored to the original document in real-time.

To embed a document, drag it from the Finder to your document in Affinity Designer, or use the Place Image Tool to select a document from the dialog.

Bonjour,

Merci.
JM

Hello,
I currently testing Affinity Photo (Trial).
This is actually very similar tools and features of PhotoShop.
Many keyboard shortcuts correspond; It is very good.
I practice professionally in PhotoShop Studio Graphique.
However, the concept of "Dynamic Object" on layers has become essential to integrate Illustrator files (and perhaps Affinity Designer) in Vector quality.
It is the same for Dynamic Objects in PhotoShop PhotoShop, and work the same image for Print and Web.
Do you incorporate this feature in a future version of Affinity Photo?

Thank you.
JM
