It looks like the right arrow key, although for me it looks a bit different – not sure if that's a newer macOS thing – but it should be TAB by default anyway.

Thanks for the quick reply,,

tried the tab  , no luck in toggling UI

the right arrow simply moves the image over one pixel at a time.

....Perplexed....

Didn't consider about the OS .. I'm running Serra on  an older Mac workstation > 2010, could that be the problem?

On my Mac keyboard it's the TAB key which looks like that. Under the tools preferences (keyboard shortcuts settings) you can look what key is associated to it and also change that probably to your needs!

That is because in text entry mode the tab key inserts a tab, just like in a word processor.
