All Media Lab
Hi, Created a mask and when I refine the mask "background", "foreground" and "feather" > Apply all artifacts are gone. But when I right click again (some other day) for further refining the mask on "refine mask", all artifacts are back again. How do you open/save a mask for further refining/editing and get on where you ended your last "refine mask" session without losing all previous refining? Staff Dan C Posted January 3, 2019 Staff Share Posted January 3, 2019 Hi David When applying your mask refinement, this saves the changes made to the mask. When refining the mask again, the overlay may not look exactly the same as it did when you applied the last refine operation (for example if you feathered the selection previously) but the data beneath the refine overlay is as you left it. This is due to how Affinity scans the image each time you refine mask and applies an overlay, unfortunately you cannot 'save' the graphical overlay between refinements. I hope this helps!
