I everyone and I Affinity Support Team,

I just bought a new Fujifilm XT-100. I can't open the RAF file in Affinity Photo (latest release for MacOs 1.6.7). I had no issues using my old Nikon D3200.

No way, I can see only a white vertical stripe. No images.

What's the problem?

Thank you

The problem is the Fujifilm XT-100 is not (yet) supported by the Serif Labs RAW or the Apple (Core Image RAW) engines. See Supported Raw Cameras (1.6.x) for more about that.

Camera makers typically consider at least some of the details of the RAW file formats their various camera models use as proprietary information or trade secrets, so they are not very motivated to provide them to third parties. So it can take some time to 'reverse engineer' all of that info & add it to the databases apps & operating systems need to develop them properly.

In case you mean a Fuji X-T100 then it should be supported at least by the Apple RAW engine under macOS Mojave (and also High Sierra). You would have to switch the Affinity Photo RAW engine to the Apple one via the APh Assistant Manager, restart and give it a try.

☛ Affinity V2.3 apps ◆ MacOS Sonoma 14.2 ◆ iPad OS 17.2

If you are an owner of the software, please try the latest Affinity Photo customer beta. We have now added support for the Fuji X-T100

While the software is in a beta phase, you will find a download link to the latest beta software builds in a pinned post at the top of each macOS and Windows Photo beta forum
