Ridder
Hello, I'm new to Affinity and a beginner. Can anyone tell me how I cut out a part of a picture and paste it again on that same picture but with an other image between? I give an example of what I mean:

R C-R
There are many ways to do this. One of the simplest: Make sure everything you want to copy from the image is on a single layer & the layer type shown for it in the Layers panel has the "(Pixel)" suffix Select the part you want to copy using any of the selection tools Make sure the layer is selected in the Layers panel & select "Copy" (not Cut) from the Edit menu, or use the keyboard shortcut for that Select "Paste" -- you should see a new layer appear in the Layers panel above the original one Open the file with the image you want between the other two layers, again making sure everything is on a single pixel layer Select the part you want to paste into the other file using any of the selection tools & again do a copy like you did on the first file Back in the first file, select the lower layer, then paste -- the part you copied from the second file should now be on a new layer between the other two Using the Move Tool, select & move either or both of the top two layers as required to get the effect you want Quote All 3 1.10.8, & all 3 V23.0 Mac apps; 2020 iMac 27"; 3.8GHz i7, Radeon Pro 5700, 32GB RAM; macOS 10.15.7 Affinity Photo 1.10.8; Affinity Designer 1.108; & all 3 V2 apps for iPad; 6th Generation iPad 32 GB; Apple Pencil; iPadOS 15.
