your opinion on this desktop system to run AP?

Recommended Posts

Thinking about upgrading from my Dell XPS 420, which seems to struggle with AP, to something like an HP Z600 12-Core Xeon X5650 Workstation, 32GB RAM. For the prices I'm seeing for a barebones desktop system ($300-$400 US), it almost seems too good to be true but... would AP easily work with it? Opinions welcome.

Affinity Photo will work very smoothly on such computer. I had an old Dell T3500 with single Xeon X5650 processor, 24 GB DDR3 RAM and a GTX 750 Ti graphics card with Affinity software installed and performance was impeccable even for 500 MB files with 100 layers.
