John Steed Posted December 26, 2018 Posted December 26, 2018 Hi Support team, I can‘t import photos to Affinity Photo in the TIFF format on my iPad Pro 2018. Other fyle types like JPEG and Fuji RAF Raw work fine to import. The photos are stored in the internal iPad storage via the Apple Photo app. The TIFF have been exported from a Mac via Capture One with 16 bit TIFF. It happens with all my TIFFs. The pictures work fine in other tools like lightroom. When I try to import via Affinity via the + button out of the photos app it seems that the photo is importing but nothing happens, even after minutes. Affinity shows the normal workspace tools but there is no photo, it is just black. Affinity shows RAW as info which is wrong. Any ideas or TS tips to test as I would love to edit all my photos via Affinity. Thank you Quote
Wilburn50 Posted December 27, 2018 Posted December 27, 2018 I have the same problem. TIFF files should open the Photo Studio rather than the Develop Studio. Quote
Waenni Posted December 28, 2018 Posted December 28, 2018 I’m having the same problem. A tiff file exported from RawPower into files app opens in Affinity photo as raw file, showing a black screen. Affinity Photo crashes than after maybe 10:seconds. Quote
Staff Lee D Posted December 28, 2018 Staff Posted December 28, 2018 This seems to be an issue with the most recent update (1.6.11.85). It will be passed over to the developers once the office is open again (3rd Jan) Quote
