Thomahawk Posted December 26, 2018 Posted December 26, 2018 The first and foremost thing that disturbs me is those borders around each object being visible all the time. It seems the only way to get rid of them is to go into preview mode. But the guides do also disappear. There should be an option to hide object frame borders independently from guides. Its always the first thing I do in ID. Quote
walt.farrell Posted December 26, 2018 Posted December 26, 2018 What kind of objects are you referring to? For Text Frames, the visibility of non-selected frames is controlled by View > Show Text Flow. It's beneficial to have it enabled, in my opinion, because it lets you see which frames flow to other frames, and highlights non-linked frames whose text has overflowed. Michail Posted December 26, 2018 Posted December 26, 2018 These markers are very important and useful. But I can understand @Thomahawk well. When I'm designing, they usually bother me, too. Since there is no shortcut of my own by default, I would recommend to create one of my own. I have set Ctrl+H (Edit -> Preferences -> Keyboard Shortcuts). This corresponds to the procedure in InDesign. Quote

I suppose for preview on/off which disappears guide and box franmes together? Quote

These are the borders that disturb you, aren't they? Quote
