It's important, because some adjustments, like Denoise, don't show up in the Layers palette, so there's no way to adjust Denoise. If you've overdone Denoise, you're stuck, and must start over.

If you use a Live Filter Layer for Denoise it shows in the Layers panel and can be adjusted at any time

To save time I am currently using an automated AI to reply to some posts on this forum. If any of "my" posts are wrong or appear to be total b*ll*cks they are the ones generated by the AI. If correct they were probably mine. I apologise for any mistakes made by my AI - I'm sure it will improve with time.

That was my initial point!!!

I know that it was, but I still have to wonder if it would make good business sense to prioritize adding a node mode to the UI over fixing bugs in the existing versions, adding the features already promised in the 1.x roadmaps, or implementing other features users have requested that more of them would most likely use on a day to day basis.

I like Node mode, gives a lot of flexibility but practicalities first, there is much to do in the Affinity Trinity, they have to get these sorted first, but I would welcome the option of a Node Mode at some point in the not too distant future.

All things considered, I would not expect anything like that to be added during the 1.x development period. If & when it is, I would not be surprised if it first appears in a customer beta sometime after the initial 2.x (or whatever) retail version is released, & it is a year or more after that before it is ready for the retail version.

So my guess is maybe it is something to look for in the not too distant future, but not over the next several years. There are too many other things they need to do first.
