Accessing the Alignment panel

Designer beta 1.7’s new Alignment Widget is a nice feature for intuitively and visually aligning objects but I still find it much quicker to use the keyboard shortcuts.

As I primarily use the Alignment panel ’s “first / last selected” — It’d be great to have the option to select whether you wanted the keyboard shortcuts to follow the Alignment panel’s behavior (first / last selected) or the default behavior.

Alternatively, having an “Alignment studio” which could be opened in the Panels sidebar, would be helpful.
Or a “toggle Alignment Panel” — which seems to be one of the few options missing from the custom keyboard shortcuts.
