[AD] Insert (or paste) a new layer inside the selected layer or group

It would be great if there was some (context menu) feature to add a new layer inside the selected layer or group. I'm doing that a lot and now this takes way too much time when having lots of curve-layers, because the new layer is inserted way up. Now it goes like this to add a new layer inside a new layer:

- add a new layer
- find your layer --> with hundres of layers/curvelayers this is a looot of scrolling each time, because the new layer is added on top somewhere (I am always searching where it is)
- move your layer all the way down to paste it inside the layer you want to paste it in

It would be a lot easier if we could just insert (or paste) a layer inside the layer or group we have selected in the Layers panel. And it would be fantastic if there would be some keyboard shortcut, like holding shift while clicking 'add new Layer' button or something. That would speed up the workflow a lot.

For everything above the same wishes for pasting Layers. That could work the same.

ctrl+alt+N inserts only a new Layer(with capital L) at top of the stack,not inside ??

@haakooNot sure what you mean. I never seen an 'insert inside button' in Designer, neither does ctrl-alt-n does anything here (using designer 1.6.5.123)

BTW I'm working mostyl with 'normal' vector layers in Designer

Thanks for your reaction, but I don't want to paste something inside some graphic. I just want to add a layer inside another group, so only hierarchial.

I see ctrl+shift+N is inserting a pixel-layer, but I'm working with vectors, so is there also a keyboard shortcut or button to insert a 'normal' vector-layer?
