KrzysztofNazar
Hello, I'm new to this forum and I'd like to ask a question. As far as I know, it is possible to install Adobe plugins in Affinity software, so if I'd like to extend the functionality of the application I could go this way. My question is, if there is SDK or documentation available for Affinity, which would help with creating custom tools. I know that scripting was already proposed somewhere, but I'm aware this requires a lot of work from your developers' side. I also prefer to create more integrated tools. I am familiar with Adobe package automation (ExtendScript, which is basically a modification of JavaScript), but I also know C# and C++. Thanks for your replies. Staff Gabe Posted December 18, 2018 Staff Share Posted December 18, 2018 Hi @KrzysztofNazar, Welcome to the forums. We do not have any documentation available. Plug-in wise, we only support .8li files .8BF . if you're familiar with the Adobe package, an .8BF plugin for Adobe should work with Affinity Photo. Apart from Plug-ins, we do not support any scripting or automation. Thanks, Gabe.
v_kyr
Hello, AFAIK no there isn't! - No Affinity related SDK and no Affinity doku or examples at all here. So you have to rely on Adobe's PS plugin SDK here and go the own try and error way. Staff Gabe Posted December 18, 2018 Staff Share Posted December 18, 2018 My apologies. I have corrected the post. It should have been .8BF
