celticfrog Posted December 18, 2018 Posted December 18, 2018 I was disappointed when the master pages couldn't have frames which needed to be filled, though I understand the reasoning. I'm wondering if there is a way to create a library of frames so I can pop a text frame in place and not have to find an earlier use to make sure the alignment and size are correct. This would at least give me a starting point anchored in the right spot. Quote
Staff MEB Posted December 18, 2018 Staff Posted December 18, 2018 Hi celticfrog, Welcome to Affinity Forums This feature (master page frame placeholders/templates) will be added later in the development (after Publisher's release). Quote A Guide to Learning Affinity Software
MickRose Posted December 18, 2018 Posted December 18, 2018 In the meantime you could create a text frame with top left at 0,0. Put in some dummy text and give the frame a left & top indent. Save the frame as an asset in a sub category called "Text templates" or something. Just drag the asset to the top left and start typing. Quote Windows 10 Pro, I5 3.3G PC 16G RAM
