Matthias Posted December 18, 2018 Posted December 18, 2018 I’d like to propose a new type of tab stop: A wrapping tap. FreeHand had this clever and unique feature, I used it a lot. Wrapping tabs position the left edge of the text at the tap position. Any text that does not fit into the tab space is moved down into a new line to form a column. For example description text may take up automatically as many lines as it needs. Super convenient and useful. You can see it here: https://books.google.de/books?id=EGzrJ4UPElYC&pg=PA235&lpg=PA235&dq=freehand+tab+stop+types&source=bl&ots=pptXWAnnA2&sig=zfJX4_QHb13dIg1P71OivhdIRGc&hl=de&sa=X&ved=2ahUKEwiOm4C18KjfAhXrp4sKHbeBCnYQ6AEwBnoECAcQAQ#v=onepage&q=freehand tab stop types&f=false Cheers Matthias Alfred and jmwellborn 2 Quote
ijmsmith Posted December 18, 2018 Posted December 18, 2018 I think this is a very useful idea. There's a feature in Quark which gives similar results but the Wrapping Tab would be easier... Matthias and jmwellborn 2 Quote
