Corner tool works on some corners but not others

I've made a shape by adding two circles and three rectangles. I've managed to round six of the corners but two won't respond to the corner tool.

The selected corner is one that doesn't respond to the tool.

Is there anything I can do to round this corner?

Can you share the *.afdesign file here?

@kengrace You've got two nodes very close together. Zoom in and you'll see. It's one of the four nodes of the circle and one from the junction of the two shapes.
The Boolean Add needs to be dead on .... or rotate the circle first to give them a little breathing room when combined.

Just guessing, but it looks like there are two nodes there, very close to & almost overlapping each other. Since the Corner Tool can't round beyond the limits of adjacent flanking nodes, the tool will have little or no effect.

Try zooming way in on that area node & see if you zoom far enough in it resolves into two nodes.

Thanks @JimmyJack, you were right about the nodes. And the solution, as you said, is to rotate the circles before I add them.
