Is having the option to automatically include "continued on page…" or "continued from page…" at the top or bottom of linked text boxes or frames unusual in DTP programs? I've done a 15+ page monthly club newsletter for more than 10 years with MS Publisher and that is a feature I use regularly. It saves me the coordinating effort that would become necessary when last minute changes force me to relocate a text box to a different page. Don't know if it's a must-have feature but to me it's one that's RNTH (real nice to have).

That's usually one of the first things that I look for when I look at different DTP programs and I can't recall a modestly priced one, including AP, that has it. Is it hard to implement or is it rarely used or is manually updating page numbers just something that people are accustomed to doing?

is expected to be added to a future version of the product.

It is in the current version of the beta. Text > Insert > Fields > Next/Previous Frame Page Number. make a pair of linked frames and type into the first one "continued on page <Next Frame Page Number>" <Frame Break> "continued from page <Previous Frame Page Number>"

Mac Pro (Late 2013) Mac OS 12.7.6
Affinity Designer 2.5.7 | Affinity Photo 2.5.7 | Affinity Publisher 2.5.7 | Beta versions as they appear.

I have never mastered color management, period, so I cannot help with that.

The automatic version isn't there yet, is it?

We can manually create such links, but this thread was about an automatic form of it.
