mike1ruck
I would like to know whether or not an ability to batch process RAW images in the Develop Persona is in the pipeline? I am Chair of a local Amateur Camera Club and I know that a number of the members are reluctant to move to Affinity from Adobe because of Lightroom and the ability to batch process images. I have managed to score a couple of converts where individuals are not wedded to Adobe and that is because of price. I am sure more would convert if there was a batch processing option in Affinity Photo. Apologies if there already is one that I am unaware of. Staff Dan C Posted December 12, 2018 Staff Share Posted December 12, 2018 Hi mike1ruck, Welcome to the forums You can use our batch processing feature to mass-develop images, and apply a custom macro to them at the same time if you wish. I'd recommend watching the following videos on batch processing here - We're aware that currently certain camera RAW files tend to be slightly under-developed when using batch processing, this is something our devs are aware of and are working to fix! I hope this helps toopi 1 Quote Please note - I am currently out of the office for a short while whilst recovering from surgery (nothing serious!), therefore will not be available on the Forums during this time. Should you require a response from the team in a thread I have previously replied in - please Create a New Thread and our team will be sure to reply as soon as possible. Many thanks! Fixx
Photo cannot process RAW with same efficiency as Lightroom. As there is always need to finetune settings per image basis batch does not simply cut it.
IanSG
You can use batch processing and you can define your own presets. @Fixx is right though - it's nowhere near as simple as LR. Maybe one day? Quote AP, AD & APub user, running Win10
