DanBlincoe
Please put a "merge selected" option in the menu when you right click on a layer. Right now "merge visible" is only available when right clicking on selected layers. Pšenda
Yes, please. If no layer is selected, the menu item "Merge Visible" in context menu is OK. However, if two or more layers are selected, the menu should be "contextually" changed to "Merge Selected". Polygonius
I also not understand why this isnt a menu-entrie, but i can easy life with that: There is a menu-entrie for this: Layer > merge-selected. You can EACH menu-entrie shortcut to your wish. I have cmd+r for raster a single layer and alt+cmd+r for "raster/merge" several layers at once. Pšenda
Sure, doing so can be done in many ways. But the meaning of the contextual menu (right click) is that it adapts its offer according to what and when it can be done. But if the current situation does not adapt, it is not "contextual" and does not fulfill its role. Shortcuts - these are good for someone who works with the program daily, and so do dozens of different shortcuts to learn. But if you work with the program only occasionally, it is a well-functioning context menu of salvation :-) Quote Affinity Store (MSI/EXE): Affinity Suite (ADe, APh, APu) 2.4.0.2301 Dell OptiPlex 7060, i5-8500 3.00 GHz, 16 GB, Intel UHD Graphics 630, Dell P2417H 1920 x 1080, Windows 11 Pro, Version 23H2, Build 22631.3155. Frozen Death Knight
Made this suggestion as well earlier this year. Would be greatly appreciated if this was added into the menu, especially since the functionality already exists inside the program as a shortcut. I hope someone on the Affinity team has the opportunity to work it into their production pipeline for 1.7 before it ships, since I can't imagine it being too time consuming to code (could be wrong as well, but my gut tells me that it shouldn't be too hard). TomM1
I agree. Right click on the layers panel, show option for "Merge Selected". Quote website Mac mini (2018) 3.2 GHz Intel Core i7 64 GB • Radeon Pro 580 8 GB • macOS Monterey
