Installed font disappearing when starting Affinity designer

Recommended Posts

Dear community,

I am using the font "Sans Forgetica" (https://sansforgetica.rmit/) which is installed on my laptop. Every time I start Affinity Designer (version 1.6.5.135 on Windows7) and load a file which contains this font, the font cannot be loaded and has disappeared in the font list. After a reinstall of this font, it appears again in the font list... until I close AD and start it again...

I can live with that, but it's a bit annoying and I don't know if it's a bug in AD.

Regards,

nyhet (Julia) from Berlin, Germany

Hey @GabrielM,

thanks for your answer. I have to correct myself, the problem occurs after restarting my computer, not after restarting AD.

I took a look into that folder and noticed the font is gone! Thanks for the hint. It's quite strange, since when I am reinstalling this font, I get the popup which tells me that the font is already installed and if I want to reinstall.

I will have a look into that problem, which has obviously nothing to do with AD.

Regards,

Julia
