Can you save out as an indesign file on publisher?

Recommended Posts

I see you can open indesign files etc... but can you save them out as indesign so that I can send over to someone who only has indesign and not Affinity.. I know I can save as PDF's but that's not what I want.

Keep in mind that this is just a Beta preview and there is no final first release version of Publisher yet. - If you actually look into it's Export file format options there isn't ID support in this early state of the software.

☛ Affinity Designer 1.7.3 ◆ Affinity Photo 1.7.3 ◆ OSX El Capitan

I don't even think you can open InDesign files, nor (from what I've read) is that planned. There is talk of being able, eventually, to read (if I remember correctly) .idml files.

I have no idea if Publisher will be able to save those files, though.
