How to save photo edit as LUT or preset?

Recommended Posts

Hey everyone, my first topic here, and starting with a question but figured out the forums would be the best place to get support.

When I'm editing a photo in Affinity Photo on iPad, I would use multiple layers, like Channel Mixer or Selective Color, then I can save them in the adjustment layers one by one but not combined as 'Preset' or something like this.

Is there a way to save all layers into a Preset or a LUT?

Thanks

Hi @dansky

If you look in the Document menu (top left, just after the arrow) there is an Export LUT option.

There is a video (for the desktop version) but it should work the same.

Windows PCs. Photo and Designer, latest non-beta versions.

@dansky @annaisabel If exporting your  LUT as a .cube there is a bug that translates the RGB data columns to BGR. We've been waiting a long time for a fix for this but it seems to be low priority. If you experience this issue, a workaround is to reimport the exported LUT file and then export the imported file again. The double translation should put the data columns back in the correct location. Eg.Export( RGB to BGR), Import, Export (GBR to RGB) should fix the file.
