kjs
I think it's really great that Affinity Apps are a one time purchase with updates for life. And one day I want to be independent of Adobe's pricy subscription. That's why sometimes I would like to support Affinity some-how. For example.. if I buy brushes from the Affinity Store is that directly supporting the developers? I wish there was an iBooks version of the workbooks. That way they could be updated when new features come out. Uncle Mez
myclay
Minor updates are free like 1.a to 1.x. Major updates 1.x to 2.x cost money. write bugreports, help in Betatesting. Some even go to lengths to bring the programs into universities to help students. Create stuff which helps others. Best way imo to help is to create amazing art because that is imo the most effective advertisement. jmwellborn, stokerg and SrPx 3 Quote Sketchbook (with Affinity Suite usage) | timurariman.com | artstation store Windows 11 Pro - 23H2 | Ryzen 5800X3D | RTX 3090 - 24GB | 128GB | Main SSD with 1TB | SSD 4TB | PCIe SSD 256GB (configured as Scratch disk) |
Staff SFurniss Posted December 10, 2018 Staff Share Posted December 10, 2018 There are no plans for an ebook I'm afraid but the Workbook is not a user guide so much as a companion book. It contains projects to work though as well as tips on workflow from a range of designers. For this reason the content doesn't really lose relevance when we update in the same way that a user guide might.
