Thomahawk Posted December 8, 2018 Posted December 8, 2018 Scaling an individual line or a group, very odly, line thickness does not scale with it. This means, in proportion to the increasing size of the form, the line gehts thinner. Am I dumb? Okay, I am a former FreeHand user, and you can certainly not get anything more simple then FreeHand. I probably just missed a box to thick or something in preferences. Should be self evident that in 99% of all cases, if one scales something, it has to be scaled as an entire thing. Not changing it. But sure, I am just missing something... Quote
firstdefence Posted December 8, 2018 Posted December 8, 2018 If a stroke has been applied there is a check box in the Stroke Panel to scale with object. Thomahawk Posted December 9, 2018 Author Posted December 9, 2018 Thanks. Okay I got that. Then I feared I would have to do that for every path, but nice thing, after clicking this once, it stays for all following paths. I can indeed see there may be circumstances where a non-scaling may be preferred. firstdefence 1 Quote
paulos Posted November 14, 2023 Posted November 14, 2023 HI, I have version 1.10.6 Affinity Designer on my desktop, and on my Ipad i have version 1.10.7, when i create something on my ipad and move it to desktop with on stroke of an object "scale object enabled" when scaling from big to small the stroke thickness is for example 2.4 points instead 3.2 points" i dont understand this when scale object is enabled this should be the same when scaling correct?
