Refined Controlled Sliders / Value Changes

Recommended Posts

I would like to suggest for the range of Affinity products that have, at least in this example, a slider that make numeric changes, a more refined option to slowly move sliders in smaller increments while holding a modifier key.

My example, "Growing / Shrink" , it's dialog's slider doesn't allow for smaller movements causing the user to have to dial in the more accurate option (usually using the keyboard) leaving the slider all together. A simple solution/suggestion would be allow for the use of modifier keys to slow the value change or in addition, clickable "Nudge arrows" that would allow for fractional or whole number value changes. (Maybe on each end of the slider)

Also, I noticed that I cannot make fractional changes to certain functions like the "Halftone" filter or the HSL adjustment. Most screen printers use .25, .5, .75 increments to their angles for halftones. I would love to see this be available to the halftone filter especially but also for the HSL adjustments and any others.

Thanks!

PS. The latest beta is a substantial gain in the brush performance department! Very noticeable change for the better in removing the "initial lag" so many of us have experienced when starting strokes, thank you for your continued hard work!!!!
