I know you can blend a line from one color to another, but I cannot find out how to draw a color and use a tool to blend two neighboring colors together. In Photo you have the Paint Mixer brush, smudge tool as well as layer blending modes. With Designer you could switch to the pixel persona and use the smudge tool or again layer blend ranges. The best option really would be to use the gradient tool just as you have a bit more control over the fade from one colour to the other. You can also add more than 2 colours to the gradient.
