Paul_F
Just updated to Build 192 and cannot now export to PDF "An Error occurred while..." No other info. Was exporting on Build 178 this morning. First issues I've had in 2/3 months. Cheers MacOS High Sierra.
Paul_F
Extra clarification. Error occurs when trying to export to PDF preset, with Bleed, Crop Marks, etc. Tried on a couple of files, now
Paul_F
Think it may have something to do with the PDF/X-1a preset/compatibility. Cheers
Chris_K
Hi Paul_F You said it was exporting fine in 178, was it the exact same document or did you add things since? It will most likely be a certain element or element type within your document which is causing and issue but without seeing the file it is difficult to say what. Are you able to provide it at all? reinhardmohr
Hi, I‘m on Publisher 1.7.0.192 – and I have this problem, too. But I had it with the previous version, too. But I think I now got closer to the problem: It obviously has something to do with the fonts. Whenever I click to include the fonts into the pdf file Publisher is calculating the size of the file forever. And when I click "Export" the error pane shows. But when I click "convert fonts to outlines" it works: The size is calculated and the pdf file can be exported without any problems. Maybe this helps. Thanks for making Publisher – that's great!
