AP Autosave taking too long/not working

Recommended Posts

It’s already the second time I spend 30 min editing a photo without having it saved cause of a bug. When I click on the back arrow (upper left corner) affinity photo should auto save to internal memory. Instead it quits the document as usual and bugs out taking forever to save. The save process never ends and I can’t use the file anymore! That save animation keeps spinning forever and the photo gets grayed out. If I close and re open the app the file does not get saved. This is very IRRITATING and FRUSTRATING.

I am on an iPad Pro 2018 WiFi only 1tb version 12”. iOS 12.1

edit: it only happens when the file gets bigger but not so big. If i quit with just small changes it quits and saves regularly. The starting photo is an hdr merge done with ap. So I think it’s a 32 bit file (??)

You can increase and or decrease the autosave time in settings. The interval is set in seconds.
