anweid
Under the Windows OS, not only the key combinations Ctrl+C (copy), Ctrl+V (paste) and Ctrl+X (cut) can be used for accessing the clipboard in more or less all programs by default, but also other combinations. Affinity Publisher 1.7.0.192 on a German Windows 7 (64bit) does not support the following standard Windows key combinations for text when using default settings: Ctrl+Ins: Copy (same function as Ctrl+C) - nothing is copied in Publisher. Shift+Ins: Paste (same function as Ctrl+V) - nothing is pasted in Publisher. Shift+Del: Cut (same function as Ctrl+X) - the selected text is deleted, but nothing put onto the clipboard in Publisher. It is probably possible to define these key combinations manually, but it would be nice if Publisher came with them already pre-defined, because they're standard under Windows, and every program dealing with large amounts of text supports them (as far as I know) - even all edit fields, this forum, etc... Alfred
Confirmed here in Publisher beta on Windows 10 (UK English). It’s the same in the retail versions of the other Affinity apps.
