Get the trackpad is my advice.

Mine too, if for no other reason than Apple stupidly put the battery charging port of the mouse on the bottom, so you can't use it while it is charging.

Get the trackpad.

I’m thinking of getting a new iMac.  It comes with various versions of mice or trackpad.  Which choice might be best to work with Photo?  Thanks.

Mac Pro (Late 2013) Mac OS 12.7.4
Affinity Designer 2.4.1 | Affinity Photo 2.4.1 | Affinity Publisher 2.4.1 | Beta versions as they appear.

I have never mastered color management, period, so I cannot help with that.

mice or trackpad

I have both, but prefer the mice much more for quick turnarounds. My general advice would be to check/test those input devices yourself first, in order to see with which one you personally feel more comfortable at all. - Or check instead one of those Logitech MX Vertical mices, which do offer a much better ergonomic handling.

☛ Affinity Designer 1.10.8 ◆ Affinity Photo 1.10.8 ◆ Affinity Publisher 1.10.8 ◆ OSX El Capitan
☛ Affinity V2.3 apps ◆ MacOS Sonoma 14.2 ◆ iPad OS 17.2
